Jerry’s professional journey spans Asia, North America, Europe and Australia. Across different cultures, languages and business environments, his work has encompassed AI, supercomputing, cloud-to-edge applications, smart cities and international business—from strategic planning and solution architecture to implementation.
Integrating complex systems means connecting visible technology, resources and outcomes with less-visible structures, relationships and human needs. It requires understanding explicit goals and conditions while recognizing implicit assumptions, expectations and constraints. Bringing often-overlooked relationships into view makes it possible to shape whole-system solutions that consider both the present and the longer term.
This experience has also shaped the development of CLARITY. With multidisciplinary theory, research evidence and contemplative practice as its foundation, it draws on understanding from neuroscience, cognitive psychology and cognitive behavioral therapy to explore how clearer perception, judgment and choice can be continually cultivated in everyday situations.
A Third Path for people in the age of AI
Approximately thirty years of Buddhist study, meditation and everyday contemplative practice have led Jerry to explore how attention, feelings and habitual reactions influence choices. Alongside this, his cross-disciplinary work in technology and international business has underscored the importance of turning understanding into workable architectures and practical implementation, then refining and extending them through feedback.
These two paths converge in CLARITY—an endeavor to develop a practical set of mechanisms and systems that can be readily integrated into daily practice, supporting the ongoing cultivation, deepening and development of core human capabilities.

CLARITY invites everyone to rediscover human capacities already within them that may not yet be fully used. Begin with an everyday choice: try, observe, test and reflect. Gradually explore what is possible for you, then continue to cultivate, deepen and develop those capacities through practice.
No special status or background is required, and participation is not reserved for a select few. Everyone can begin, exploring the possibility of greater clarity through firsthand experience.
